 Recently I had the opportunity to photograph MC2‘s latest installation at  AT&T AdWorks Media lab.

A beautifully designed and superbly executed installation.

This was the the same floor where I got my first professional assignment photographing for PolyGram Records, so many years ago. It was strange being back there and seeing how it had been transformed into a 21st century information portal.

As you get off the elevator you are greeted by no less than 6 Flat screens and retro seating.

On your way to the lab, a partially mirrored interactive touch screen video wall displays a variety of information.

The lab itself features a 15 panel video screen for lectures and training.

Photos from a shoot I did recently for the “2011 Bold and Digital Men of Social Media” calendar at the benefit for Falling Whistles. The Falling Whistles campaign for peace in Congo. Proceeds go to rehabilitate and advocate for war-affected children.

Giving back… Charities

October was the month for Charities. In an effort to cleanse my soul and give back to the community at large, I embarked on a mission. I contacted Ginger Donnan Events and made arrangements to shoot for “Light The Night” in NJ. A charity that  helps with the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. Just walking amongst [...]
 

October was the month for Charities.

In an effort to cleanse my soul and give back to the community at large, I embarked on a mission.

I contacted Ginger Donnan Events and made arrangements to shoot for “Light The Night” in NJ. A charity that  helps with the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. Just walking amongst the survivors and hearing their stories gave me a sense of humility and hope. From 8 to 80 there were stories and survivors. More photos can be seen at my Facebook Ppage

I then got tapped to shoot “Falling Whistles” fundraiser, a campaign for peace in the Congo, by Ashley A. Cox and Libby Pigg, both media strategists at Edelman Digital. They will be putting together a calendar for sale to support the fight for peace. The calendar featuring photos of  ”Bold & Digital Men of Social Media“, Joe Marchese, Brett Petersel, David Armano, Jesse Kirshbaum, Jay King, Adam Broitman, Steve Rubel amongst others.

Melissa is a freelance  writer and editor, who specializes in helping business owners put their passion into words. She is  in the process of updating her web site (who amongst us isn’t?) and needed some updated photos.

After a few weeks of tornadoes, hail and other equally abysmal weather related delays, we finaly got together for a shoot. Although it was overcast her exuberance and cheerful disposition clearly shone through.

She’s pleasure to work with bright and full of energy.
